Pre Feathering Appointment:
Please Notify Oakville Beauty Bliss before appointment of any Health Conditions, or Medications you may be on - excluding contraceptive pill.
(Sorry mummas, you can't get this done while pregnant or breastfeeding)
Its also advised if you're a regular brow waxer to come with waxed brows as you wont be able to wax for another 2-3 weeks after Feathering. We cant wax on the day and its recommended to not wax within 24hours of feathering appointment.
2 Weeks prior: discontinue use of Active Skincare Products, more specifically on forehead/near brow area. Avoid in salon skin treatments - peels, microdermabrasion for 2 weeks before also.
1 Week prior: discontinue use of Fish Oil Supplements.
48 Hours prior: discontinue the use of Aspirin, Nurofen, Coffee or any blood thinning Medications. No Exercise or Alcohol Consumption.
I also suggest washing your hair, its 7 days of no wetting your Brow area after the procedure.
Day of Appointment: Includes a thorough consultation process where we discuss the desired result of your treatment in detail, including shape and colour. (feel free to bring photos).
Allow 3 hours for the procedure; it generally doesn't take this long but I always allow for it.
Post Feathering Appointment:
Do not get Brows Wet for 7 days
No Makeup on brow area for 14 days
No Exercise for 7 days
Touch up required 6-8 weeks after

Feathering is a semi permanent treatment, the pigment used is designed to lighten and fade overtime, which allows us to re evaluate after a period of time shape and colour as time/trends pass.
With this unique technology you will require ongoing touch ups, every client varies but your looking at 12 - 18 months after your original 6-8 week perfection session.
After your initial visit a follow up 6-8 week touch up (perfection session) is required to assess the result and touch up any areas and 'perfect'.
